| If tonight in the small hours we were awoken by a mystical entity,a messenger from the powers that be with a once in a lifetime offer,an offer that many of us have probably dreamt of at one time or another.To have the chance to be once again with the person we once loved,to have 24 hours,one perfect day with the one we loved,no limits on location or content.One whole day of paradise,to hold,to see,to hear,to make love to the one person we have dreamt of and still do.The price being it would be our last day on earth,a true test of love some might say.How many of us would take that offer? Hmmm not many I feel,if there are any then their love transcends any feeling of love I have known.For those of us who answer " No " that does not diminish the love we once felt and still do,it puts it into proportion.We have loved someone with what at the time seemed the best we had,we gave it our all but it wasn,t enough,enough for them anyway.For myself I gave what I thought was my all,ok wasn,t enough...for her.Its been too long a time since I took a chance ,one day maybe I,ll take a chance on me being enough for someone...one day.In the meantime the last thing I need is being woken in the small hours,when I,m dreaming of you. |
