| I smiled at you from behind my "cabbie" hat. I saw you look at me so many times. We finally met. You came back to the apartment with us to party. We danced. Precious beer spilled on to my arm. You kissed it off. I lied and said it got on my neck too. and my lips. We kissed. then she came along. got you drunk took your attention. I layed there staring up at the ceiling. I didnt say anything. I didnt sit up because i didnt want to see you two lying on th ebed together cuddling. I told her straight up that i liked you and that i really wanted to try and get to know you better and she just went right for the jugular. I must be me. Am i not pretty enough? too fat? too young? too blind? too whatever. it must be me. i guess i'll be alone forever. |
