Don't go! Don't get out of bed, forget about work today. I know you want to stay. I smile at him seductively. I grab him by his wrist, wrap my arms around him, pull him close to me. Spoon him, kiss him on that spot The spot on the back of his neck that makes him melt. He turns around kisses me softly and whispers, "but I have too..." as he stands up I study him the way he moves, the way he searches for his socks, that he never finds. the way he looks at me as if he can read my mind. the way he kisses me goodbye, as I beg him to stay. the sun burns my eyes as he opens the door. after the lock clicks I lay under my sheets, I can still smell him. I smile, chuckle and throw the sheet on my floor gaze up at my ceiling. A new day has arrived. I realize, Its time to get out of bed. Pull myself together. And... I am in love... |
