How does one cope with this feeling?? With this knowledge of loneliness, With the feeling of hopelessness But with dreams of tenderness How does one deal with the loss Associated with regret And despair And the knowledge That in one brief moment All can be won or lost How does one come to terms With the idea that misery Is the consequence of one's own volition And with the final admission That happiness is fleeting And that each casual meeting Of a person on the streets Maybe you only chance to meet That one person who will Turn your life around Throw you down And leave you on the ground Broken and beaten Where only your wounds are deepened How does one cope with this feeling?? |
