break up emails

I think every bad breakup cannot be finished without at least one of *those* emails.

It doesn't matter whether it's long-distance or not, words can sometimes speak louder than actions, especially these days when everyone is online emailing. I think more is said when you're in front of a screen, typing random thoughts, feelings, and outbursts into the "Letter they'll never see" email they get that day when you *accidentally* send it. Either it has to do with trying to extinguish every burning bridge and make things alright before you cut off entirely, or you just go off about anything you wanted to say earlier or whenever that you were pissed about...

and you knwo when theystart typing like theis they don't care what their saying theyare just so MAD AT EVERYONE AND YOU AND WANTTO YELL AT U SO THEIS IS THE BEST THEY CAN DO THEY DONT CaRE ABOUT GRAMMAR OR WHATEVR AND IT REALYGETS HARD TO READ BUT MAYBE THATS THE POINT

And then once you read that, you know the true feeling of how bad the breakup was..I dont think a voice can project that much into an email. When my long distance boyfriend of two years and I split, the emails were uh, interesting. I type like I talk, and so did he. Suddenly the grammar got better after every post-breakup mutual email, until every punctuation insert was PERFECT and it read like a real letter. And then when I had my rebound attack with someone else, and told him about it (badly to say the least, I was completely pissed at the time) one of the last post-breakup emails I got was entirely in caps and he really didnt think much about punctuation or what he was saying, b/c apparently he had gotten plastered (not like him) before writing it. And after reading it over, I realized at that moment how much he had loved me, and I dont think a phone call would have been able to make me understand that quite as well as the capslock did.
