Kamikaze

Even in warmth, we shiver; 'tis the deepest bonequiver, a bladed orgasm head to toe,
Strong arm around her chest, tears flowing across her breast; please, don't let me go.
Holding on tight; think we'll make it through tonight, what happens as we break at day?
You can protect me in this bed; it's the rest of the world I dread, make this all go away.
Another cigarette, sip of wine; three more times she'll be mine, but then we'll be apart,
Ask her, please understand; I'm nothing more than a slowhand with hemorrhagic heart.

Say you think I'm mistaken, that passageways I've forsaken others travelled quite well,
And journies in their shoes would mean better reviews come the time of my lived to tell.
Been the significant, something other; lost one to seize yet another, all to feed my pride,
For I've never once believed that any consequences I've received were unjustly applied.
They all say time will heal; it doesn't hold much appeal; feast turmoil to make you grow,
For me, oh, I love the taste, enough to not consume one in haste, bathe her head to toe.

Don't see me in a permanent way, for I've long said I would not stay as long as I should,
Perhaps only my sensual stain or the rhythmic refrain are only part of me done any good.
Take residence in my mind, I'm not all that unkind; but I've a curse that's true damn cold,
To ascend in unison thrust; to every extreme or bust, consumptive denouement to unfold.
Eyes forward, I see path of my sun; it shall rise then fall as one and sear high, burn, fade,
A meteoric, supersolar flash flickered into a kamikaze ash; wisest decision I've ever made.
