Dear Future Self, I know not where you stand nor do I know what you stand for. I do however know where you have been and where you have stood. I know where you are at the time this letter was written and what you believe on this day. I know the pain you have felt of the past, as well as the tears and laughter shared with many. I would not trade one yesterday for tomorrow even if I could make tomorrow be the one day I have waited for, for it is through my yesterdays that I have arrived at my today and all my yesterdays and todays will deliver me to my tomorrows. |
