Dearest, The thunder rumbled as I woke this morning. This was a gift given by God. Though you cannot be here in person, He has let the rain bring a piece of you to me. These rainy days will always warm my heart with the thought of you, even if someday memories are all I have left. I will cherish and hold them as close to my heart as I will hold you the next time we are near. I know you fear that someday should we go our separate ways, I might regret all of this. I must confess that I cannot imagine thinking back on all this and doing anything but smiling fondly, even if through tears for a time. You have touched my life, and I am thankful for the blessings you bring every day. Yours |
