So sometimes I stare at this picture of us. It was taken after homecoming. I ran in to you at the after party in the hotel parking lot while everyone was waiting to get up inside. I saw you and said hi and you said I looked beautiful. You asked me to go on a beer run with you and I happily went half intoxicated from drinking, half from you. We ended up taking this picture sometime into the night. In the picture I'm standing in front of you and leaning back in to you. You standing in back of me leaning in partially over my right shoulder and eventhough we're not touching we just fit perfectly in to each other. Like a puzzle. I don't know how many times I stare at this picture and search. I search for clues in your eyes and smile. Clues that you miss me. I wish i didn't lose the pieaces to our puzzle. |
