I know you only meant to offer sweets words to your lady fair--- but next time praise her lovely smile, the perfume in her hair? Next time expound on all her charms, and mention that she glows--- that she has captured your lonely heart--- and is the rarest rose--- BUT DON'T run down the ladies, who have their own sweet ways, that's not the way to make her blush the sort that lasts for days. Don't say she is so much more then THEY could ever be, lest the ladies take affront and send Lorena after thee... |
