Why must it be so hard? You dealt this hand and lost the card The future card is in your hands Now discarded and left to chance Should the card give a second glance? Toy you do and may not know But the card wishes dealer would in fact show The actual hand allowed to flow Into the realm of not having to let go The hand we're dealt Is often playable Steadfast looks are often stayable But life's a chance that all must take Yes even sometimes mistakes we make Dealer put together cards of suit Jump-start the card that thinks you're cute Check and watch the card of late Perhaps not all is lost within this gate So if the dealer shoots the moon Things could start up again real soon Together life upon the table Is awaiting the dealer to make a move Are you willing? Are you able? To try life again upon this card table? |
