And, even if my most important question, at the time, was something small, like, "Baby, why do you look at me like that?", then it still wouldn't excuse the way I excuse you every time. And, even if you cared at all. Even if you wanted more than what you got, I still would have acted how I acted. I still would have said, "Of course he loves me." Instances can be real even if they really weren't. It doesn't change the way I relate you to me. |
