| you didn't know it, but while you were watching tv tonight, i watched you. i had to hide my own giggles when you laughed out loud at that dumb commercial. the one where the dog does that thing and the guy reacts that way. you know the one. and i saw you get that angry look in your eyes when the political campaign ad came on. i know how you resent them treating us all like we're dumb sheep. and how you're actually more angry at all the truly sheep-like americans who validate the politicians thinking so. and i got a really really warm feeling in my belly when you closed your eyes and let your head fall back, your throat exposed and your lips parted. i had to pretend that i was looking out the window so that you wouldn't become self-aware and change position. i wanted it to be bedtime right then. but that comedy show was still on and your laugh is so sexy that i'd stay up all night to hear it. television sucks and i hate that american "living" rooms are designed and set up around the brain-drain box that sucks the hours from a day better spent living a life rather than watching one. and i'm glad that we bought the brazillian wood armoir so we could close ours up. you know i despise the regular programming but baby, you're the best damn show i've ever seen. |
