Ain't she got, the best disguise, All the colours, in her eyes, She stole the colours with her lies. When she runs, she runs with me, She's the window, from which I see, She stole the colours from my eyes. Nobody ever said that you could win me I thought it nice if you could write and tell me, I only let you in with my eyes open wide. I watched her grow, with the trees, Saw her cure, my hearts disease, When she paints the colours in my eyes. She stole the sun, from in the sky, When I asked, she wouldn't tell me why, But I saw the colours in her eyes. Somebody told me you would try and win me, I thought it sweet you showed your naievity, Then you crept inside my heart and sighed. |
