i thank my lucky stars for you every day. i can't imagine anyone else that would make me laugh as you do we have the best laughs together the conversation is always thoughtful and the sex is always hot but it is the laughter that keeps me so thrilled to be your wife. sometimes i think back to some of the harder times we've been through. i used to regret the dark times and wish it had all been different. now i know that making it through the rough patches is what created us. we grew up together. we're responsible adults now, with a joint checking account. i have a "real" job. you're working on a doctorate. i am so proud of who we have become, and i don't think that we would be doing so well if we were not a team. you listen to my heart, and my dreams and you strive each day to make them a reality. you give me everything i hope for. i've never known a love so deep. there is no one for me to envy. i know i am materialistic, and that stresses you out, but i really do have everything i want. as much as coach hand bags and channel #5 appeal to me... all i really need is you. your big 'ole green eyes and your warm grin. the heat from your hands and the comfort of your arms. you are it. so thanks for being the best husband a wife could ever hope for. i love you. |
