There are never any guarantees Life begins and can end so quickly Remember... Being told of your first word ever spoken, to remembrance of getting that first bike, the anticipation of your first kiss, double dating, pizza after high school football games, first car, prom, graduation day, graduation night, onto college what a ride, to the time you announce your getting married, until the time the first child arrives, How happy were you on that day? Remember, I do, what a miracle it was Then finally saying goodbye to a close friend and relative, the hurt, the pain, the feelings of no guarantees, other than the fact, you know they are in a better place, that my friend can be guaranteed, if you believe I have been fortunate to live through all of the above and then some So NO guarantees are simply words But when you Live life and make it exceed all expectations and Give and feel and love the people within your heart Then the No guarantees Will be a little less painful When the reality of No guarantees are Finally understood I write, I say, I mean and feel it Know this, I love you That's your guarantee...
