Oh love, how you tear at my soul, Is it you that wakes me in my sleep? Is it you that I feel when I weep? Cupid only misses when love is not true, But I will sharpen his arrow and make sure I'll do! But this angry darkness, it captures my soul, I'm so tired, these tired eyes, I can't let it go. Time trickles away, my faith slowly dissolves, This illusion of what they call love, falls. I'm foolish, how foolish was I to believe, That this face would begin to fade like an etching on a tree. Now this voice echoes, screaming at my soul, Eyes piercing and tearing taking there're toll. Why won't you leave I scream inside, why won't you let me be, don't you see? |
