Why must some need a reason a special day, a special season to give what they could give each day to share their love in other ways I don't need a special day to say the words, I want to say I don't need a special season to give a gift - I need no reason For love is free and soft as air I need no force to show I care When least expected, I give a gift Suprises are the greatest lift When I'm expected to give a card, a forced display of my regard its meaning loses it's true intent the borrower gives back what he was lent That's not for me to expect return I like to give more than I earn Unexpected gifts are my favorite art to shock your lips and surprise your heart ` |
