you made me cry last night as we sat on my bed talking like adults, maybe we talked like adults because that's what you are now, as difficult as it has been to watch you mature to this point, i am glad you've made it. your getting close to flying the nest soon, and as any mother does, i worry just a little, will you have enough food, what about gas money, are your cloths clean etc, etc. you know the things mom's worry about, and don't forget to wear clean underwear, you never know when you might be in a wreck. i tried hard to not let you see my tears and that i am a worrier, so i ask if you were nervous, well maybe just a little, but we planned well mom and i have become somewhat frugal, you know eating out all the time is unhealthy and quite expensive, but we will be fine i promise, besides you're a great mom, don't think i ever told you that before, you've raised me right and been a great example, and i love you mom. |
