I'm suffocating, My lungs feel so tight and out of air. My heart hurts, An aching pain that won't go away. My eyes cry and cry And I can't figure out why. My arms are numb, They are so empty, when once they were so full. My mind is lost, It no longer knows what to think. I beg and I plead But still you stay away. You are so close I can touch you with my hand and yet I can't seem to reach you. You're a firefighter, you save people for a living... Why won't you save me? |
