And isn't it funny, sometimes, how someone's face can act as your muse? Maybe you're writing something, and just the thought of that face flashes behind your eyes and suddenly you feel a pulsing in your blood, you are driven and fluid in creation. Someone's dark brown eyes open a window to a hidden place in the soul, his smile is the key to a string of inspired words, new beginnings. Maybe you're standing at the counter thinking you should cook something, but what? And you think of him and your blood begins to simmer and surge and soon you're creating something warm, sultry, spicy, satisfying and reminscent of him. I believe that love is the muse that underlies every great creation. I believe that everything, great writing, great music, great cooking, great architecture owes it existense to someone's intense love. I believe that I owe every word I write, every story or line that breathes with life to you. |
