it's been so long since the midnight oil yearned for my pen to jot down a few words nothing fancy a small note perhaps to let the heart know it has not been forgotten or has it? no earth-shattering heartaches no wounds to rub salt in no tears coursing nor fires burning just silence and the heart flutters lightly acknowledging the self-prescribed solitude just may have brought the love of self we've needed all along. 9/13/05 |
