you gave me shivers,
both delightful and cruel
(you were bittersweet,
though months later
my tongue tastes of salt)

I've been retracing memories
which burn me asunder
looking for something sane,
anything that made
some recognisable kind of sense
(Now I'm dreaming
to dull the pain)

I'll be waving goodbye
when you drown
in this ocean
of plastic beliefs
and glass hope
(your as brittle
as your flaws:
Amazingly enough
Here I am once again
praying that you don't break)
