What is Simple

    What is simple is beautiful
    god knows it is true,
    for the nights woven cloth
    and the stars silver dew.

    A candle burns brighter
    when shielded by love,
    the wind cannot pierce it
    nor rain from above.

    And tears, they are oceans
    a body is land,
    with the sweep of soft cheek
    you have love in the sand.

    What is simple is beautiful
    god knows it is true,
    with a dream and a whisper
    he sent me to you.
