| Today, when I got home from work and stripped of my clothes, hot from the warm sun outside, I longed for you more than ever before. I wanted to apologize for all I've done, but my pride wouldn't let me. Well, that and my conscience telling me I have a boyfriend waiting for me to call. It's funny how life is sometimes. We are a circle. I want you know, and you ignore me. I figured it out. I've been searching all along for someone to replace you, but you're irreplaceable. This is why I find myself running back to you after every break up. I thought it was just for comfort, but now I find it's because it was just for you. What I needed all along was right infront of me. I just hope that it's there on a hot, sunny day after work waiting for me. |
