why is it that when i am ready to start anew, leave my yesterday behind, here you are like a temptress in the wild reminding me to live my past, i thought i already got over you, but time's just made me forget about you, not entirely heal what i have felt for you. you don't have a face of helen that could launch a thousand ships but you have the smile of mona lisa that the world never forgets that i never forget... why do you have to mess up my world again when i already found a divine refuge for my wounded heart when you left me vulnerable you gave me troubled visions i can't believe that all these years it is still you it's a close encounter that gave me a total recall it hurts me more and eats me more knowing you're close again too afraid i might have fall again i have to scrap this oblivion i have already tried before to get over you maybe this time i'll try my damndest |
