Who did I think you were to give that right to you You were sleek and slick every word you said was smooth What was I thinking giving my heart to you Just as I let go of all the hurt the truth from you confronted me Where was my mind the moment those words came out I'd heard them before should have know they were untrue Why did I decide you were worthy of my trust Someone I thought would hold my every feeling in care How did you do it make me believe All those words you said they seemed to sincere When will you realize I'm not happy with how things are It just might be too late for you to correct all your wrongs |
