things came down swirling into my mind slow like a lullaby dreams are popping into my eyes then when i wake up slowly i lift my arms and stretch there i see you sleeping like a baby on my side i brushed your hair aside and kiss the tip of your nose i love the smell of your hair in the morning i got used to your sweat i can't jump into the shower yet not without a 35-second hug drink my brewed coffee with a kiss on my bread touch your face while eating my breakfast ogling at your chinese puffy eyes in the morning smiling so sweet and innocent another new year has begun another dawn of doubt of what will happen in our lives i'm so afraid that my nightmares started to crawl down but three years is hard pounding life yet the taste is so sweet everytime i hear you breathe and your chin on my shoulders assuring me everything will be fine i just want to hold your hand every time i fear of losing you you'll be the last chapter of my life i will continue fighting the odds i don't care what's right or wrong there's no standard rule in loving someone and there's no such thing as straightening your life you paved my way and i found you we've gone through high and lows steepy valleys and rocky alleys we can make this together i know for you i will be strong and that's all i know |
