2/4/2007 I keep on holding off telling my heart that it ended I had my share of mistakes for I had left my heart unattended For me you were the shoulder on which I always depended Same words I keep hearing from you, the pain and heart break were never intended Can’t remember how many times your words were bended You twist and turn them whenever you felt offended Seems it was a game to you and you just pretended Now I’m left with pieces of my shattered heart for you left it unamended Ssshh silly heart! It’s been many times that you took his side and him you defended I tried to make sense of that but it’ll always remain to me un-comprehended My mind is pushing me to get it over with, tell your heart, it’s recommended Can’t keep on putting off the inevitable news Tell it straight out and stop dropping clues Time to be brave and to take the bruise Now is the time for there’s nothing left to lose. |
