22/3/2007 Lights dimmed, fire place lit, she stood with her back to the fire. With Her trembling hands, quivering lips, shaky voice, she was uttering her words. She was filled with hate, growing by his own words and actions, feeding her anger towards him, making her resent him more and more, detesting his existence, despising his presence. Just wanting him to let her be, wanting him to go, and leave her alone. She tried to deny what long ago she knew, that he was unfaithful and was never true. Messed up like a jigsaw that needed to be put together. Searching for the right piece that would make her whole. Thought he was the glue that would hold her together. But seems he was toying her all along. Revenge she sought for quite a while, but knew she was burning out her soul. Wished to wrap her hands around his neck for she didn't want him in her life to have a role. Was sad, was mad, and wasted all her tears, for he had committed infidelity after all of those years Hoped he'd be buried in the lies he told. Hoped he'd regret it one day when he's old. Hoped he'd realize he no longer had her to hold. In the room he came and looked into her eyes One look it took for her to realize Forgiveness inside her she held for him For it didn't matter what came out of him She loved him so She told him go Their separate ways they both left For his promises he hadn't kept. |
