Let's not pretend To be perfect, after all Imperfection is simply life. I used to live in black and white But gray is where one eventually goes Visibly, and hopefully, Philosophically. I no longer wish to live in Disneyland And marriage has no fast-pass Through the hard times. I know this now, as I know it about life. And so the answer is yes Because I know you don't expect Mickey And Minney to be at our wedding. Or Elvis. But maybe Johnny Cash. |
