A blue moon has gone by since our last encounter I look forward to the future and the now & ever after Come close my gift of words Plan to arrive, stay close, and be heard Away to the ends of the earth we shall go We’ll even take things ever so slow Find our place in the world we share Where the water is seen, to breathe fresh air I long for the moon to set real soon So I can put an end to these days of useless gloom I’ve waited too long to feel your touch Of you only, I haven’t asked for much Let’s make it soon cause’ I can’t stand the thought Of another blue moon…. |
