Perhaps the best I could ever do is learn to tolerate her presence in your life... the way she taunts you when she thinks I'm not looking or the way she wakes you from a deep sleep with her moans Did she always know exactly how to tousle your hair? Or make your skin glow? You are always keenly aware of her and She is always on your mind the way you long for her would make the most gracious of women, jealous. She is considerably older than both of us and yet, you tell me you never tire of her beauty to you she is ageless and absolutely stunning just as she was the from the moment you first laid eyes on her all those years ago. You have spent the night with her many times as she lulled you to sleep....... only to gently wake you at sunrise you have trusted her with your heart and she holds your deepest secrets even with your eyes closed I can still sense her reflection in them She has brought you gifts and nourishment and you've enjoyed endless hours of pleasure with her as she wrapped herself around you leaving her scent on your skin and embedded in your memory I am well aware you are in love with her and long to be in her presence taste her on your lips as her salty moisture covers you Could I ever lure you away from her absolutely not You desire her daily but wait in silence until you are with her once again this I have come to accept and know where I stand.... How could I ever think even for one moment that you would leave her? a part of you would die if I kept you away from the sea. |
