| Not wanting to wait until the movie was over, she got up and walked out of the theater proclaiming her own version of intermission. Somewhere along the way, she switched venues and became engrossed in another's film. Was my plot not interesting enough? Was the story of my life not developing in the direction she had originally hoped? Was there not enough excitement or so much she couldn’t take it anymore? Or did she just get drawn into another’s life on her way back to her seat? Regardless of the reason, my theater is empty, my lights are down and the movie that is my life is still running. I hope she makes it back before the ending. |
