for justice, corrective lenses

What is it to be in love?  Suppose the woman you think you love has done something unforgivable.  Does the fact that love really and truly is unconditional cover her; her contingency so to speak?  Or should you adhere to the reasoning that if she did love you, at the very least she would have considered you before the dastardly deed was done?  What is a man to do in such a predicament?  Given that he truly loves her?  Is there any justice to be had for him, no compensation for the pain he’s felt, and no correction for the wrong he’s been done?  Life surely cannot be that unfair.  Do we propose that he forgive, though never forget?  Or should the act of forgiveness entail the issue being forgotten?
These are unanswered questions no one seems to be asking, but they resoundingly call for a reply.  A question can only be answered if it is asked, so here I am asking the question.  Can no one provide me with an answer?
