MIND & SOUL: Three am, silence in the house only in my head there never is silence a war rages endlessly, no conclusion barely a truce now and then this mind is not right, not even close hasn't been for some time it longs for many peaceful days, secure nights to give it pause occasionally little breaks sometimes work to heal the wounded parts until the next battle evolves out of nowhere, a fog appearing obscuring the work already done words harsh, damaging easily could be swords or guns to this fragile soul |
