If there is someone who can show me what it means to be in this world someone who has virtue, who seeks truth and abhors faith in eternal fire with every atom in their fragile body Is there not one who is alive (somnambulists surround me, sightless yet staring with sick serenity) some profound being that is unlike this endless multitude of insipid simian beings? This superfluous misery burdens our souls forces so many into an automatic existence (So where are you? Are you forlorn in some river staring at the sacrosanct stars dreaming of being anywhere but here?) |
