I don't want to tell you that I love you, because that will hurt you. I can't admit that I need you, as that would indicate that I can't do anything without you, which will mean that I can't do without you, thus that I rely too much on you in almost everything. Pointing out that I hang out a lot with you, which naturally leads to getting so used to you and comfortable in my own skin around you. Last but not least humorlessly discover that I have developed some kind of feelings for you…I am doomed. |
