the sea of new beginnings beacons with its promises of time that moves forward not backwards, not backwards. the sun gives off rays of new found love and affection blistering, penetrating, even the toughest skin, they say. so I went for a dip and I had my new beginnings and time moved forward, yes forward, at last. but I didn't find love, and I didn't find affection. my body moved ahead but my heart was left behind... It was still wearing you like a sunblock. |
