Living a life of golden rule proportions Thinking everyone else was doing the same An off chance meeting led to a life of misery She wanted him to love her like she loved him His only problem was that he could only love himself He never loved her the way that she loved him She tried to end it and start over so many times Every time he would make her reconsider Thing would be good for a day, week, month at a time Everything was lost through this roller coaster ride Though the material things were missed Her mind was the thing that she tried to hold onto A last attempt was finally a success & she was off that ride It that seemed to never end only to find That picking up the pieces was not as easy as expected |
