We thought the Second Millenium would be awesome and somehow the Fizzle just Fuzzed We thought the Computers wouldn't handle it all But the networks continued to Buzz The years have zoomed like the Amtrak Since Two Thousand had turned on Big Ben And now we face a new decade And we wonder what might happen then Will the bombs keep bursting in terror ? Will O'Bama continue to fight - For heathcare reform before daylight's new dawn ? And is peace still somewhere in sight ? Will the World's economy recover ? Will people continue to spend ? Will the sea lions return to San Francisco ? Will Beckham continue to bend ? The Future's too scary to Fathom While some cheer and shout in applause Parading their Flags in their marches pursuing their particular cause Will Love be the glue that will bind us to reach goals that will make a big change ? Will we find a new way to be friends now ? Will we learn a new way to share blame ? Will romance have a new meaning when Lust marries Love at the dale ? I'm hoping that everyone finds the way and that no one will falter or fail.
