| On a tidy up mission under the bed I found myself looking at some old pics from way back when I carried a comb in my back pocket and didn,t need to suck my gut in, both now sadly are in reverse.I looked on those pictures and remembered good friends,good times,Friday/Saturday drinking was what got us through the week, meeting up,lookin round,turned down repeatedly except for my best mate who looked like Rob Lowe and could just stand there and nine from ten walked someone home.Those pics and memories got me thinking about where we are now,he married a lovely Scottish lass and now owns a coffee shop in Florida and I have found myself living in China.Life moves on,loves come and go and for some LIKE ME they took a long time to get over but I got there,with some troubles along the way but I,m still chuggin.I held on to the past for too damn long.Life has corners,look around them. |
