Once upon a time, there was a Fury, A Fury white hot that burned inside her. The little girl didn't know where it came from But it demolished everything in it's path. Every thought, every dream, every flower that brightened her day was all scorched away. She hated being angry because it wasn't...her. She hated being angry because she knew it was...him. This Fury burned long and hard and fast, Charring the laugh lines on her face, Blackening the greens of her eyes. No sunset was beautiful. No hope was hopeful. No blessing was truly appreciated. No future was ever fully realized. This Fury consumed her soul...and she turned her blackened eyes to the sky, hoping that the waters falling from them would quench it's scalding touch. Prayers whispered to God, traveling through smoke and ash... And she rises once again, drenched in hope, drenched in her prayers whispered to God.
