| Last night I just wanted to sit,lights off,glass of wine,cats sleeping with that strange smile they seem to have,twenty floors up takes away the street sounds so I only heard the clock ticking away the last minute to midnight and the hum from the refrigerator.I heard you quietly say this is nice,why don,t we do this anymore.I poured a glass of wine for you and heard you quietly say lets have some music,I said ok you choose and as our favourite songs started to play I heard you quietly say this is nice why don,t we do this anymore.As the music played you reached out a hand and I heard you quietly say Hey lets dance to this one.I held your hand as we danced and heard you quietly say why don,t we do this anymore.As the music died I heard you whisper we won,t do this anymore. |
