One would assume that sacrifice is part of any relationship. Everyone must work for what they want. Nothing in love is handed to you in a pretty box with a festive bow. Why is it, I ask, that the most simple of requests can never be fulfilled? Adults need jobs. Parents must parent. Bills must be paid. If you cannot support yourself how can I love you? I have found the most simple requests have been ignored. You do not love yourself so you cannot love me. |
