Sadness.

Most people,no let's make that everybody at some point in their lives will feel sadness to a lesser or greater degree.Be it a loss of family,friend,pet or even your lucky jacket being stolen from the pub.Each of us handle sadness in our own way,alcohol,drugs,violence,laughter,jogging until we drop.All of these work of course..but only for a short time,alcohol just makes you sadder,drugs empty your bank account,violence Hmm well if you're 6'8 and weigh 280 pounds I guess that could work,laughter unless with a friend gets people chasing you with a large butterfly net,jogging ..well lets skip that one.
Tonite in no discernable order I emptied my bank account,walked to the liqour store,avoided confrontation with the locals.. 5'5 and 140 pounds scares no-one, cannot remember the last time I laughed till I cried which is not good and too damn old for jogging.
Sadness can hit you like a right hook or a simple phone call from a friend asking how ya doin.I got to the store and walked slowly home.You will soon come home but we both know the feeling has gone.I smiled in the mirror tonite but my eyes couldn,t hide the sad.
