I recall a conversation in the summer of 2012, sitting on his patio, I asked, “Why did you marry her?” He told me a beautiful story about a woman he loved, adored even, and about their journey together… Then he added, almost as an afterthought, “It wasn’t meant to be, and I married Sarah.” No wonder she prefers to be behind the camera, and when caught in front of the lens her gaze is as empty as his heart.
