I Never Wanted

I never wanted nor willed to stay
Between your fingers or in your hand
But what more could I ever want to say
That would repair the life that I had planned

So leave me, run, and just go away
Your presence is more than I can stand
The anguish you’ve caused is too much to pay
The chaos is too great to command
