The world is such a dark place to live in; When all you offer is love and yet get greeted with a rage of hate. I truly do not understand how good intentions are interpreted as hidden motives. How honest words are explained as a double edged sword. How kind gestures are understood as entrapment. Why can't I just say what I feel and mean it too? Why ruin it with so much negativity? I never want to cross to that dark side. Why is it so bad to have that kind of faith in people? Naive? Maybe. But I would much rather focus on the beauty in things. People will eventually burst your bubble ,and only then ,you are forced to wake up to face the cruel unpleasant reality of it all. |
