He wished it all away and vanished once more to try someone else on for size. This person didn't fit the bill, so memories of her surge back. Always the one left behind, she wishes away the time and learns to be alone again. Her thoughts vacillate between remorse and hate. She was so sure about them, but she was wrong about him. They both want the same thing, but neither is ever on the same page at the same time. So on they go, simultaneously alone and wishing away fading memories of each other. |
